How to join
Come and have a look around and perhaps trial one of our weekly mix-in sessions to meet some members and try out the courts. Once you’re ready to join, we offer great flexibility with membership options for individuals, families, juniors and students, as well as separate rates for off-peak players.
Court schedule
The weekly court schedule shows you all the core organised sessions we run for our members in summer and in winter. At other times there is no booking schedule and all members are free to play as they wish.
Teams
We have 16 senior teams competing against local clubs in the Staffs and Burton leagues, while six junior teams play in the Aegon Staffordshire leagues. If you’d like to try your hand at representing Lichfield Friary, please let us know – new members are welcome to apply through the year.
Competitions
As well as team tennis, our main club tournament takes place in summer, while our winter league competitions run from October to March, offering you opportunities to play competitive tennis all year round.
Calendar
The club organises various events and tournaments through the year. These include sporting and social events, and usually a mix of the two, such as our New Year’s Bubbly Brunch, which is a popular feature on the event calendar. Take a look at what’s coming up.
