Lichfield Friary Lawn Tennis Club provides coaching to children aged 5-16, boys and girls

A: BEGINNERS / IMPROVERS

• - Group lessons every Saturday and Sunday all year round
• - 5-11 years old 9-10:30 and 12-16 years old 10:30-12 both days
• - Ran on 5 or 6 week basis (between school half terms)
• - Typically for a 6 week course the cost is £34.50

The aim of the sessions is to provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere for children to laern the various skills required to begin to play the game. As well as the technical teaching of key strokes, children are taught skills such as movement, agility, speed and footwork

At each session 2 coaches are available and children are placed in to appropriate groups according to age and/or ability

B: JUNIOR NIGHT

For those who are members of the club, the club coach runs a free session on Wednesdays 5.15 - 6.15 (April-October)

The aim of the session is for children to practise what they have learnt in their coaching sessions; whilst having fun playing games

C: PERFORMANCE SESSION

We currently offer a performance session for those players who would like to progress to playing matches or taking part in tennis more seriously

The aim of the session is to be more intense; working on match play situations. The session runs weekly, every Thursday 5.00 - 6:30. A typical 6 week block costs £45   

Individual Lessons

Available to anyone looking to get more help with any aspect of their game. Lessons cost £25 per hour
